VANCOUVER, BC, November 26, 2020 — With the Bright Nights Christmas Train stopped in its tracks, the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund needs your help to hit our next big milestone of $100,000. At over $83,000, it’s almost there!
The Bright Nights 50/50 is your chance to walk into 2021 a winner while supporting a charity that has been significantly impacted by the pandemic.
Buy your tickets today to support the charity of BC’s professional fire fighters.
Tickets are 1 for $15, 3 for $40, or 6 for $60.
Earlier this week it was confirmed that all seasonal events, including Bright Nights in Stanley Park, have been suspended until December 7, 2020. As the charity of BC’s professional fire fighters, the Burn Fund fully supports this Provincial Health Order, which aims to protect communities and slow the spread of COVID-19. We are hopeful that the Christmas Train will get back on track December 8th, but in the meantime, we need your support.
Bright Nights is not only a cherished holiday tradition for thousands of families and visitors, it’s the single largest fundraising event for the Burn Fund. For 23 years fire fighters across the province have transformed Stanley Park into a winter wonderland to raise funds for burn survivors.
The Bright Nights 50/50 is an extension of this beloved event. By purchasing a Bright Nights 50/50 ticket, you are enabling the Burn Fund to continue providing programs and support for burn survivors and their families, as well as fund much-needed fire and burn prevention education.
Buy your tickets today and mark your calendar for the New Year’s Eve deadline! The draw will take place January 4, 2021. Good luck!
