The Win50 winner was drawn at 12:30 PM today, and up for grabs was half the jackpot which reached an astounding $983,040! Walking away $491,520 richer is Carolyn Kavanaugh of Edmonton (Ticket #70704110).
‘Which of the three beautiful $1 Million homes would suit me and my family best?’ is no doubt on the mind of the Grand Prize winner, Maria Giordano of Edmonton (Ticket #31164708). Once she makes her decision, she’ll also have to decide how she’ll spend the $200,000 cash she has won on top of the new home!
Proceeds from the lottery will support nearly 20% of the annual budget for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area. According to their website, their programs support nearly 5,000 kids with tools to overcome negative influences, to improve their literacy, and boost their self-confidence.
