Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation’s 50/50 lottery helps provide much needed funding to ensure the hospital has the latest technology, the best equipment, and an environment where doctors, nurses and support staff can do their best work. On Thursday, January 22, the grand prize jackpot will be awarded to one lucky winner— a life-changing prize that’s still climbing higher with every ticket sold.
The purpose-built critical care unit at RCH will more than double the hospital’s critical care capacity, with 84 private rooms across the Intensive Care Unit, the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, and a dedicated Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Each room supports state-of-the-art monitoring, improved infection control, and a quieter, more comforting environment for families who may be spending long hours at the bedside.
