In the past month the organization has rescued over 300 dogs and cats and now have over 450 animals in their care, including nine stray dogs that were hit by cars all requiring extensive medical care. Others have arrived with illnesses and injuries including broken bones, mange, parvovirus, respiratory illness, wounds, quills, among other ailments. AARCS was there to give each one of them a second chance and they need your support today.
With the purchase of a $25 ticket you will help animals like Creek, a dog who came to AARCS after being found in a ditch badly injured. He was rushed to an emergency veterinary hospital where it was discovered that he had a dislocated hip AND a ruptured ankle ligament both requiring surgical repair. Despite his injuries Creek’s sweet personality shines through. He is grateful for a bowl of food and a kind hand to pet him. He is in a loving foster home and getting the best possible care at AARCS before being placed for adoption.
