WINDSOR, ON, January 27, 2021 — Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation launched its MEGA MONTHLY 50/50 in November/December 2020 to great success. The inaugural monthly winner took home a whopping $110,410 grand prize.
With January’s grand prize draw fast approaching on Friday, January 29th at 11:59AM, the growing jackpot currently sits at over $65,000!
The Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation launched its first Fantasy 50/50 Draw in 2019 and the lucky winner won $92,832. The second Fantasy 50/50 Draw in 2020 netted the lucky winner more than $165,000. With successful results like these, the foundation worked tirelessly to launch a monthly draw in hopes of achieving similar prizes.
“We quickly noticed that people were eager to win and donate to help the hospital purchase essential equipment to enhance patient care,” says Beth Ann Prince, President of the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. “In fact, within hours of launching the monthly, the jackpot was close to $10,000. We hope to build on the overwhelming level of support we have seen for our 50/50 draws and continue to fund life-saving equipment needs for our hospital.”
Proceeds from previous draws have supported the purchase of a state-of-the-art 3D Digital Mammography machine, and vital cardiology and critical care equipment.
February’s draw will launch on Monday, February 1st at 9AM with a guaranteed prize of $8,999. It will also feature an early bird prize of $1,000 which will be drawn on Wednesday, February 17th, 2020 and the grand prize jackpot will be announced on Friday, February 26th.
