Proceeds from the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation’s 50/50 draws have supported the purchase of critically needed medical equipment across both the Ouellette and Met campuses. Equipment purchases have included a state-of-the-art 3D Digital Mammography machine, and vital cardiology, diagnostic, biomedical, and critical care equipment.
June and July’s proceeds helped purchase an Affinity 70 Ultrasound Machine that allows clinicians to perform scans for diagnosis. This ultrasound machine is used in cardiology, women’s health, vascular, and radiology ultrasound applications. This specific unit was purchased for the upgraded Angiography Suite at Windsor Regional Hospital’s Ouellette Campus.
