Kamloops Blazers 50/50 Now Over $18,000

Kamloops, BC, December 7, 2020 — The jackpot in the Kamloops Blazers 50/50 is already over $18,000. Tickets are only $5 each (or 3 for $10 or 10 for $20), and supports the new Ronald McDonald Family Room at Royal Inland Hospital.

The Ronald McDonald Family Room, slated to open in 2024, will be situated next to the pediatric and neonatal intensive-care units.

The family room will allow patients and their siblings release some energy in the play area, while parents may rest, prepare hot meals and snacks or enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee.

The space has yet to be designed, but will include sleeping rooms and a range of complimentary amenities.

The Ronald McDonald House expansion to RIH — which serves more than 225,000 people from the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap region — is expected to enhance the hospital’s support of residents in Kamloops and surrounding areas.

The raffle runs from October 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
